My Child UK raises funds to support the work of My Child Uganda. The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. The funds raised support the following work. Chlld Sponsorship in Uganda-Through this programme we are fulfilling objects A and C. Money given for Child Sponsorship from UK sponsors is used for School fees, books, uniforms and feeding while at school. School in Uganda- One of the long term goals of My Chlldls to build a school in Uganda. This will fulfil objects A and C. In 2011 the land for the school was purchased and plans forthe building were drawn up. Building work has not yet begun on the land as funds are still being raised. This fulfils object A, Charity Shop- The charity shop enables those without monetary resources to meet thelr needs through trade. Anyone can go to the shop and swap something that they have in exchange for something that they need. Surplus food generated by the swap shop is given to needy people in the area. We have been loaned an acre of land to grow food for the people that are fed by the shop. Local Pastors put together a rota that enables them to sit in the shop and share the Christian faith with members of the community. They often take time to pray for people's needs. The charity shop fulfils objects A and 8. Summary of tha maln activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects {Anclude within this sectlon the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commisslon on public benefit) Mission Trips to Uganda-The mission trips fulfil object B by providing opportunities for those on the trip to Share their Christian faith with both individuals and larger groups. For those taklng part in the mission trips it is not only a time to serve through short-term work but also an opportunity to visit the projects run by My Child and see the work that My Child is doing in Uganda. Attendees often go back to the UK inspired and encouraged to promote the work of My Child, Providing Aid in Uganda- Where My Child sees a need it can help to meet, we will provide aid in those situations. My Child currently raises funds for a Christmas Hamper appeal that provides food for needy families for 3 weeks over the Christmas period. This fulfils object A. Conference5-The charity runs Christian conferences in Uganda to support people in their spiritual development. Library- My Child Uganda has set up a library and fitted it out with books and computers. Education projects are a150 run from the library. TAR March 2012

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year My Child sent grant5 of over £15,000 to My Child Uganda during 2024. Below we have detailed what My Child Uganda have achieved with the money provided. Child Sponsorshlp The charity is deeply grateful for the child sponsorship programme, which has opened the doorto formal education for many children. This year, we're proud to share that three of the sponsored students have successfully completed their A-Levels. At present, there are 36 students enrolled in the programme. Bukomelo Charity Swap Shop: On Friday, 24 November 2024. My Child Uganda proudly launched a new charity shop in the village of Bukomelo. The event wa5 well-attended by members of the community, including the local Mayor. The shop is currently providing essential food for 10 elderly people, with the number steadily growing. Since opening, the shop has welcomed 89 customers, and we anticipate even more visitors a5 we approach the Easter season. Conferences My Child Uganda recently hosted a youth conference for girls aged 13 to 20, which brought together 155 participants and was a resounding success. Through worshipi game5, and meaningful discussions, the girls felt empowered to openly share the challenges they face at school and at home. Following the positive impact of the event, the community has requested support in organising a similar gathering for boys. Llbrary The library has had 453 individual visits benef itting from its resources. My Child Uganda are hosting digital literacy classes for adults and computer lessons for youth and adults. Christmas Food Hampers It was a privilege to provide Christmas Hampers to those in need. My Child Uganda delivered essential food packages to 100 households, each containing 5kg of sugar, 5kg of beans. 5kg of rice, and Iokg of maize flour. These supplies sustained 956 individuals through to the end of January. Before the distribution, the team had the opportunity to share the Gospel, and we rejoice that 26 individuals made the decision to embrace Jesus. Other Events 2 men's conference with 300 participants from various villages. A parents meeting attended by 10 parents 3 school visits, speaking to 300 students and 10 coming to faith. 3 women's conference were organised in the village attended by 350 women My Child Uganda facilitated for 9 individuals to get eye tests and glasses, three of which were pastors. While in the UK Ruth Kirabo, who leads the My Child Uganda team, visited over 10 churches, fostering connections and support. TAR March 2012

Independent Examiner's report to the trusteeslmembers of My Child Registered charity number: 1137445 I report on the accounts for the year ended 31st December 2024 which are set out on the following pages. Res ive res nsibilities of the Trustees and Inde ndent Examiner The charity's trustees are ￿sponSible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under Section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act, and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of Inde ndent Examinerfs Statement My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees conceming any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whelher the accounts present a 'true and fairf view, and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below. Inde ndent Examiner's Statement In connection with my examination, no material matters have come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that in any material respect.. accounting records were not kept in accordan￿ with section 130 of the Charities Act or the accounts do not accord with the with the accounting records I have corne across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn, in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
