Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public In Modern British Silver And Silvercraft Objects In Particular But Not Exclusively By:(a) Encouraging And Developing The Skills Of Young And Prospective Silversmiths Based In The United Kingdom By The Award Of Bursaries, Grants Or Other Financial Assistance Or Support;(b) Encouraging Design And Craftsmanship By Young Silversmiths Based In The United Kingdom By Sponsoring Prizes For Such Students At Individual Colleges Or Places Of Learning Via A National Competition;(c) Commissioning Outstanding Silvercraft Objects From Young And Established Silversmiths And To Exhibit Them For The Benefit Of The Public;(d) Holding Exhibitions In The United Kingdom And Such Other Places As The Directors See Fit With The Aim Of Raising Public Awareness In Modern British Silver; And By(e) Raising The World-Wide Profile Of Modern British Silver And Silver Craftsmanship In The United Kingdom With The Aim Of Improving Craftsmanship Levels For The Public Benefit.
