the charity as set out in its

• The relief of those in need, specifically
children and young adults with
disabilities by supporting dance
events and activities for children and
young adults with special needs in
Northern England
• To promote the active involvement of
any person with an interest in
furthering the Objects of the
association, including young adults
with special needs.

purposes for the public
benefit, in particular, the
activities, projects or
services identified in the
accounts.		 Para 1.17 and
1.19		 This year We Can Dance have provided
dance lessons totalling 1,060 hours to
18 schools.
In addition we have provided T Shirts
with Logo, Ballet shoes, paid exam fees,
provided certificates and medals and
props totalling £824.
We held fundraising events towards the
cost of these lessons and other supplies
namely:-
• Susan Rumfitt Royal Jewels
• Ascot Ladies Day
• Our first Great North Run!
• Charity concert
We also applied for and were awarded
grants from the following benefactors:-
• Darlington Building Society
• Tesco
• Mark / Allertonshire Masonic Charity
• Anonymous Grant of £5k

• Visiting and liaison with schools and
teachers on a regular basis
