The charity is a Public Benefit EnlSty as defined by FRS 102. The accounts have departed from the Charities IApxount5 and Reportsl Regulations 2008 only lo the extent requiréd to provide a true and fair view. The charity is a Public Benefit EnlSty as defined by FRS 102. The accounts have departed from the Charities IApxount5 and Reportsl Regulations 2008 only lo the extent requiréd to provide a true and fair view. This departure has involved following the Slalement of Recommended Practice for charities applying FRS 102 rather than the verslon of Ihe Statemènt of Recommended Practs'ce which is referred to in the Regulations but whlch has since been withdrawn. The accounts are prepared in sterling, which is the functlonal currency of the Company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded lo the nearest £. The accounts have bèen prepared on the historlc81 cost convendon, modified lo include the revaluation of freehold properties and lo include investment propertles and certain financial instruments al fair value.
