Report for the Year Ended 31 March 2024 Objectives and activities Significant activities Training and development- including leadership training are the global vision and design of activities at Jubilee Christian Church International (JCCI) worldwide. They will continLJe to take place yearly. These include Believers, BasiclPrayer Schools, Leadership History Makers (HMT) training program, Team and Fellowship Leaders training program and church workers and volunteers, program. We attend other relevant conferences. seminars and exhibitions designed to equip us to carry out the work of the ministry more effectively and to prepare us for even more growth and increaselexpansion. Our main service holds on Sunday mornings as well as the first Friday evening of every month which focus on the teaching of God's word and prayer. The teachings are relevant to all aspects of our lives i.e., the Christian walk, education, career, business, family, relationships, and creativity. The impact of these teachings is evident in the lives of our members. Jubilee Christian Church International continues to witness significant growth in all aspects of its work. We are fulfilling our vision of building and establishing people on the Word of God and empowering them to reach their full potentials in life. The Church has become a great place of refuge and strength to many, both young and old. People are discovering their purpose in life and there is a great momentum to step out and make an impact in their world. Our youth program continues to exceed our expectations with more young people attending the weekly meetings and regular training sessions. All our programs and activities are designed to raise strong, vibrant, and responsible young people who will grow up to have a positive impact in all their sphere of influence in the home. the church. the community, the nation and beyond. In line with the objects of the church, we have continued to support members going through hardships through our welfare programs and support other charities who are involved in missions that are complementary to our works. To reach out to our community. we prepare our annual free attendance barbeque event in the Summer to reach out to our immediate neighborhood and we organise regular coffeeltea mornings throughout the year for the less privileged around us. In July 2024, we successfully acquired a property in Edgware as our permanent place of worship. a long term goal that has come to fruition we want to use this opportunity to thank every one that supported us during the process and in the achievement of the goal. We recognise that this is a goal for many churches and we want to help others achieve it. JCCI had the privilege of making a donation to JCCI Zion Chapel to this effect. Report for the Year Ended 31 March 2024 Objectives and activities Volunteers The charity has volunteers who assist the church in achieving its objectives - the church is fully run by volunteers. Financial review Financial position In the twelve months under review. net results for the year were (£22,506). (2023: £31.789) and carries forward funds of £255,785; {2023: £278,27). As part of our plans to assist other JCCI chapels in achieving their goal of purchasing a property as a permanent place of worship. the charity donated £75.000 to JCCI Zion Chapel in this financial year. Reserves policy The Trustees believes that a level of unrestricted funds should be maintained so that in the event of a significant drop in donations, the charity will be able to continue it's activities we are working towards building unrestricted reserves level to three months of expenditure. Going concern At the time of approving the accounts, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus, the trustees continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the accounts. Funds in deficit Funds in deficit in this financial period is due to the donation made to JCCI Zion Chapel from restricted reserves which carries forward a balance of £232,348. (Mar 23: £234,578). Future plans We will continue to engage in outreach and evangelism as we launch into our new environment and beyond. We will continue to collaborate with other churches and denominations in supporting the underprivileged. elderly and youth in the area. We plan to continue to provide food bank ServI￿S and other welfare support for our members and other people who are going through financial hardships as well as other community support services in the local area. A minibus to convey members to all church activities and programs is still part of our future plans. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees of the Company (and also its directors for the purposes of company law) you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 ('the 2006 Act,). Having satisfied myself that the accounts of the Company are not required to be audited under Part 16 of the 2006 Act and are eligible for independent examination, I report in respect of my examination of your charity's accounts as carried out under Section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 ('the 2011 Act,). The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. Income All income is recognised in the Statement of Financial Activities once the charity has entitlement to the funds, it is probable that the income will be re￿iVed and the amount can be measured reliably. Expenditure Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as there is a legal or constructive obligation committing the charity to that expenditure, it is probable that a transfer of economic benefits will be required in settlement and the amount of the obligation can be measured reliably. Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category.
