Ealing Community Transport delivers safe, accessible and affordable community transport for communities across the UK. IT provides flexible and responsive transport solutions to communities with unmet transport needs. ECT's services enable people with mobility difficulties or those who lack access to ordinary public transport to live independent lives and participate in their communities.
Objects: 2.1 To Promote The Provision Of And Access To Transport Facilities For People Who Have Special Need Of Such Facilities Because They Are Elderly, Poor, Disabled Or Infirm Or By Reason Of Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances, People With Young Children Or Those Living In Isolated Areas Where There Are No Adequate Public Transport Facilities Or The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of Such Persons 2.2 To Assist The Charitable Work Of Organisations And Bodies Engaged In The Relief Of Thosein Need By Reason Of Poverty, Sickness Or Disability;2.3 To Promote The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupationof Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmityor Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For Thepublic At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Thecondition Of Life Of Such Persons;2.4 The Relief Of Those In Need By Reason Of Poverty, Sickness Or Disability;2.5 Such Other Purposes As Are Currently Recognised As Exclusively Charitable And Any Newcharitable Purposes Which Are Similar To Another Charitable Purpose.
