Activities
Civic Voice is the national charity for the civic movement in England. We work to make the places where everyone lives more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive and promote civic pride. We campaign nationally and support civic societies and other community and voluntary groups to be more successful locally.
Objects: 3.1.1 To Promote The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of Theenvironment, In Particular The Public Realm And The Historic Environment;3.1.2 To Encourage High Standards In The Management And Development Ofthe Built And Natural Environment;3.1.3 To Promote Sustainable Development By The Conservation, Protection Andimprovement Of The Environment, And The Promotion Of The Prudent Useof Resources (Sustainable Development Being Development That Meetsthe Needs Of The Present Without Compromising The Ability Of Futuregenerations To Meet Their Own Needs);3.1.4 To Foster Civic Pride And Stimulate And Educate The Public, In Particular Bypromoting Understanding Of The Beauty, History, Geography Andcharacter Of Different Localities;3.1.5 To Develop The Capacity And Skills Of Individuals And Communities Tounderstand And Take Action To Conserve, Protect And Improve Thequality, Beauty And Character Of Their Locality;3.1.6 To Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes As May From Time To Time Bedetermined By The Trustees, Including The Assistance Of Other Charities.
