Thls sum amounted In ihe year to £116k,12019120 £IOlkl The Dlstrltt a150 obtair￿d from eath Clrcuit. with a reserve known as a tircuit Model Trust Fund {CMTFI a re￿ based on the balance of the CMTF at the start of the Connemional year. The Oistrict ￿kIS rK> funds as Custodian trustee. It doe5 however* quarterty receive from Clrcults wlthln the Di5trirt, the Circuits contribution to the Methodist Church IMCFI. These sums are collected as agent for the MCF and a￿ passed to the MCF later in the samÈ quarter. Funds received by the 0Sstrict a5 a8ent a￿ not recognlzed as an a55et in the financial statements because the funds are not within its control. No fee is earned In respect of thls agency arrangement and the District incurs no cost through thi5 arra￿geMent.

A District is the coordinatlnB charity for a group of contiguous Circuits and makes its decisions at half yearly Synods. The Method15t Conference meets once each year as the Supreme derKMninatlonal body for all Methodist Churches. Overall regulatory authority rests with the Methodist ConfererKe.
