In accordance with the terms of the Trust , income to be applied for the benfit of the mentally handicapped in the county of Berkshire (in such charitable manner as Trustees shall think fit. The Trustees have complied with the duty in Section 4 of the Charities Act 2006 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.

Objects: The Income Of The Trust Fund In Perpetuity And At Its Discretion For The Benefit Of Mentally Handicapped Persons In The County Of Berkshire And Such Additional Surrounding Area As The Bank May Determine. The Income Of The Trust Fund Shall So Far As Is Possible Be Distributed To Local Organisations Having Charitable Status Which Have As One Of Their Principal Aims The Care Of The Mentally Handicapped And Generally (But Not Necessarily Exclusively) The Income Shall Be Disbursed To Fund Specific Purposes Or Projects Rather Than Added To The General Funds Of The Organisations Selected.the Bank May At Is Discretion Pay Income To Organisations Established For The Benefit Of Those Suffering From Other Forms Of Handicap Or Disability Or Who Are Underprivileged If In Its Absolute Discretion IT Is Not Appropriate At Any Time Or Times To Make Distributions Of Income In Accordance With The Preceding Sub-Clauses.
