Activities

School Food Matters exists to teach children about food and to improve children's access to healthy, sustainable food during their time at school. We provide fully-funded food education programmes to schools. Our experience delivering these programmes informs and strengthens our campaigns, bringing the voices of children, parents and teachers to government policy.

The Objects Of The Charity Are To Advance The Education And Promote The Health Of Schoolchildren And Their Families In Particular But Not Exclusively By:4.1 Developing And Improving Knowledge And Understanding Of Food, Food Production, Health And Sustainable Food Production Amongst Local Authorities, Schools, Pupils And Their Families, School Caterers And Others; And4.2 Encouraging And Monitoring Good Practice In The Provision Of And Access To Fresh And Nutritionally Healthy Food In Schools.
