The committee who organi5e th8 details ol the show Iwhich involves trustees and other intlNidualsl seek to provide a range of demonstrations and activf(ies wh￿h provide somglhing of interest for everyone while maintsining an agricultural flavour. The charity is dependent on income received from visrtors and businesses attending the show, as well as other sponsorship and advertising revenue. The Gharills onlino booking $y$lem recorded 4,335 tickets being sokl on the day, plu8 around 2.5CQ sold in advance. If members, judges and exhibitors are al80 included, il 18 eslimaled that over 7,500 peoplo vl8ked the show. The 8how In¢lUd￿ many of the u8U81 comp8tlllon8 lor 6ho8p, cattle, poultry #nd hor606 and welcomed di8playB of rare breed animals, flowgr8, country CTaft8 and vintagè vehlcles around the showground. The show continue8 to be well publicised in the local community. as well as using the chanty'8 website and Facebook p8ge8. For Ihls re8son. they conllnue to adopt the going concem basis in preparing the flnanc181 slalement8. R•8oN•s poIIcy The Iruslees arg mindlul that the c03ts of holdlng the each year continue to rise and that a great deal of tlme is provided free of charge by volunteers, partlcularly in th8 weeks leading up lo the day of the show. It has been the charity's policy to maintain reserves sufficient to support at least a full years expenditure as (( would not be unkn¢)wn for tha show to hava lo be cancelled the day before, 5ti11 incurrin9 the majonty of costs bul without any income.
