We maintain a collection of military memorabilia. We stage exhibitions, hold meetings and arrange visits to educate the public in the wartime heritage of our country. We support military and other charities. We remember that the peace most of us enjoy today came at a price: it had to be fought for. We do this in the hope that the lessons of the past will help to secure peace for the future.

Objects: The Group`s Objects ("The Objects") Are To Benefit The Community Principally Of Hastings Rother And Wealden, Also Other Districts In East Sussex And Adjoining Districts Of Kent ("The Area") By:1. Preserving And Recording The Military, Naval, And Aviation Heritage Of The Area;2. Educating The Public In The Wartime History And Heritage Of The United Kingdom And Its Allies;3. Assisting Financially And Otherwise:a) Other Voluntary Organisations Concerned With Wartime Heritage; B) Other Charitable Organisations In The Area.
