We work c105ely wlth families to help them access free nursery places for all chlldren aged 9 month plus and we ensure that all famllles are aware of the help Wdllable towards the cost of chlldcare through Tax Free Childcare. Unfver5ainax Credits. MFC has offered Family Support to families this year these famllles were experiendng hardshlp, illness and/or soclal Issues and we supported through offering free chlldcare. This enables the parenvcarer to attend meetlngs/appointments wlth other professlonats or have respits to deal wlth/recover frnm a difficult time. INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF MILNTHORPE FAMILY CENTRE I report on the accounts of the Tt for the year ended 31 st March 2025 which are set out on pages 4 to Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner The Charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Charity's Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. To follow the procedurcs laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the Charities Act): and . Basis of Independent Examiner's Report My examination was carried out in accordance with th¢ general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of ihe accounting records kept by the Charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the Trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to wheiher the accounts present a 'true and fair view. and the report is limited to those matters set out in the slalement below.
