Trustees approved a grant to the Amy Winehouse Foundation for alcohol and drug education. The grant application requested funds for the Amy Winehouse resilien￿ programme for work with children and young people in sch¢y)Is and colleges between 11-18 years wth 'the aim to increase emotional resilien￿ and reduce the likelihood of young people resorting to alcohol. drugs and other negative coping behaviours when faced with lrfe challenges.. Trustees considered this application was in line with our objects and for public benefit and a grant of £2.000 was made. The Arny Winehouse Foundation re￿iVed the grant and infonned us that ' this generous contribution is making a tangible difference to people's lives." Change of name: It was decided to modemise and change Ihe name of the charity from the G(x)d Templars and Temperance children's fund to the Yemperance Children's Fund. in the interests of our future plans, with charitable objects to remain the same. The change of name was approved by the Charity commission in De￿rnber 2022. Future work: Truslees are exploring the possibility of some form of outreach work in the North East to promote the idea of temperance and alcohol infomiation and education.
