Grant making- during the year. Trustees considered grant applications.
Trustees approved a grant to the Amy Winehouse Foundation for alcohol
and drug education. The grant application requested funds for the Amy
Winehouse resilien￿ programme for work with children and young
people in sch¢y)Is and colleges between 11-18 years wth 'the aim to
increase emotional resilien￿ and reduce the likelihood of young people
resorting to alcohol. drugs and other negative coping behaviours when
faced with lrfe challenges..
Trustees considered this application was in line with our objects and for
public benefit and a grant of £2.000 was made.
The Arny Winehouse Foundation re￿iVed the grant and infonned us that
' this generous contribution is making a tangible difference to people's
lives."
Change of name: It was decided to modemise and change Ihe name of
the charity from the G(x)d Templars and Temperance children's fund to
the Yemperance Children's Fund. in the interests of our future plans,
with charitable objects to remain the same. The change of name was
approved by the Charity commission in De￿rnber 2022.
Future work: Truslees are exploring the possibility of some form of
outreach work in the North East to promote the idea of temperance and
alcohol infomiation and education. With that end, the charity is keeping
finance in place so that funding will b8 available for this project.
