All Church attendees are encouraged to register on the Electoral Roll and stsnd for ectiOn. To that end. we encourage people to attend publlc worship, whether on Sundays. otr days of the week or throwdh the paordI offices such as baptisms, weddings and funerals and to join various home 8roups which meet mid-week. We reco8nise that the church buildir8 is important to lon8 term residents of Mickleover and although we are not able to open the church every day we do make the bulldlng open to visitors on Wednesday morniw ak)wide our café held in the ntre as we wish to encoura8e people to visit the church for private prwpr, contemplation and to enjoy the intertor of our historic buildire. The pattem of worship alternating Holy Communion and Moming Worship in association with St John the Evangelist Church (within the joint benefice) has rrked well. The addition of St Andrew's Radbourne inlo the Mickleover 8eneflce has also worked well wlth some of our congregatlons now regularfy supportlng their twice monthty worship usin8 the Book of Common Prayer or Communion u5in8 Traditional Vrds. All Salnts contlnued its long tradition of beir a fcol point for community worship. For instsnce, the annual servlce of Remembrance happened on November 9th where around 13(rJ in attendance at the War Memorial outside. A5 has a schedule of ideas and proposals which we are working towards which is kept under review: we hosted the Bishop of Repton, Bishop Malcolm Macnau8hton during the 'Thy Kingdom Come, focus from Easter to Pentecost. He introduced us to the Revd Noé Bukuru who runs a food-aid charity on behalf of the Anglican church in Burundi (Association desjeunevulnerables pourfauto-developpement IAJ.E.Vu.DEI which the PCC subsequently decided to support financiallv; The Atlas Cedar {subject io a TPO) has caused damage to drains under the car pa because of the IreSS of roots. This now attracts around 6 to 8 children with their Dads; 8am Breakfast Church - stsrted in March 2023 attracts beNreen 4 and 6 familles monthly. This has been welcomed as it happens at a time when families are able to attend: Messy Churth- an after school time for children on Wednesday afternoons didn't llY thrive, this is due to local primary schools offering both breakfast clubs aThl after school dub5 too: Parish Safe£uardln8- 29 people in the church now have a DBS and have undergone some training. For the laity. the PSO is now processingthe 08S in the parish ratherihan them being processed by the diocesan office. There is a cost to the parish for some ofthese applications. There is 8 much-increased awar&ness inthe ¢ongreg8tion aboLrt safegu8rdlng issues and an understandingof howto report concems. 7 pèople will need to complete a training update in 2026. Total receipts for the year 2025 ¥ £104,844. The total of resour(e5 expended amounted to £109,996. The Church made a defiat on total funds of£5,152 {income over expendlturel in 2025. In 2025 the chlme mechanism in the ch)ck was repLiced and paid for by the generoslty of a Trust, the con8re8ation and membets of the local community. The old boiler chimney stone)rk and rtonework in the porch were also repaired in accordance with the Quinquennlal pOrt thanks to the generosity of gifts from the congregation and Trust funds. Income from givlng was again sli8htty lower than the previous year by 3.5%. We were successful in a further appllcatlon for a grant from a Trust. this year 1vIng £11,2LM).
