Wlth thanks to the klnd welcome or the team at Walsingham I was able to lead servl¢es of Statl¢ms of the Cr055 and the Lltursy of Sprfnkllng at the weil. We are very grateful to the Trustees of the lry Child Charitable Trust for their gener￿ grant wmch paid for the coach travel to Walsingham and badL We also held a Lent Course at the Rectory. following the Church of England's Lent materfal. In Holy Week we were able to hold most servtces slmllar to our pre-pandemic programme with g(#￿ cffigregations and a really excellent Easter Fun Day in the St Andrew'5 Centre. We were able to distrfbLtte over 50 Easter eggs to chlldren arKI y(￿ng people - Sharing the love of Christ thr(Xfghout our commun5ty. On Easter Day we were a150 able to dTstribute a small bwklet prodLKed by the Church of England counting dovm the 29 days from Easter to the Cormatli¥>. Coronation Weekend Following the success of s￿r planning for the Platinum Jubilee we V￿￿e able to present a very full programme of event5 and actlvities for the Corfflation, beglnn?ng with an excellent talk fr(n Pfylllda Scrivens, the Ring7n8 for the King Inltiatlve on the Saturday afternoon and a super day ffi th.e S￿daY wlth a Service of Thanksgivlng ansj The Blg Cr)ro)ation Lunch wth plcnic boxe5 prepared ty The Rivergarden Pth. We we tertalned to an excellent concert by the Noprtich City C¢)ncert .Band, with Fr James C&m1￿tIng an Impromptu Item at the endl The whole dty was a Rreat Sl￿ceSS. Fr James also partfcipated fn the evenlng concert at Fltzmaurice Part( on Coronatlon Day, notwithstanding the (by then) Yery 'inclement ¥veather. Cor¢natlon Plant Sa It wa5 amazlng for us to reflect a5 we prepared for our annual Plant Sale that thys CoYld-19 inltiadve has gone frtyn strength to strength and has raised a lot of money for our Missi￿ and mlnlstry. Huge thanks to Margaret Hope and all the garderrfng team who worked so hard this year. Respective responsibilities of the Trustees and Independent Examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the account. The chartty's trustees tonsider than an audit is not required for this year under section 144{2) of the Charities Att 2011 (the 2011 Actl and that an Independent examination is needed. It is my responsibiltty to Examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act. Follow the procedures laid down in the General Direttions given by the Charity Commissioner5 under section 145151{bl of the 2011 Act,. and State whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of Independent Examiner's Report My examination was carried out in accordance with the Ger)eral Direclions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a omparison of the accounts presented with the records. It also includes considerdtion of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
