For other churches 8ervlng larger communlties, the la8t year has brought opportunity and growth, wlth new people appearing in our churches, bdnging with them 9rf18 and tslents that polnt towards renewal and development in the future. Local leadershlp in our churGhe81s cruclal, arKI thanks are extended acro$8 the whole Minlstry Area to tI￿se who have taken on roles and responsibilitts as Local Church Warden8 and treasurers, whlle many others have given thelrtlme and energy on Local Church Committees and carried outthe 8veryday ta8k5 to mainlaln and sustaln thair local chu￿h. Mention should also be made of the speclal contrlbutlon of our 2 Church In Wales prirnary s¢hoo18 In Wick and St Brides Major, whose work is a constant Inspiralion to the famllies and communitles they serve, and a remlnder of the vltal role they play wllhin Ihe Mlnlstry Arèa. The last year has seen 8omo change$ In our Ministry Team a8 we said our farewells to Allson Weston who served the Ministry Area so faithfully as Administrator through 10 years of signifKant change. We W8re delighted to welcom8 Natash8 Jone$, who has been 8ppointed to replace Alison In this role and lo develop the Mlnistry Area office through the next crucial phase of our work, It has also b8en a great loy to welcome Revd L88 Gonzalez, who has join8d out team 08 a non-stipendiary ¢ur8te, following hls ordin8tlon as a Deacon.
