Objectives activities The PCC is committed to enabliE7g &8 manv Ople as p)ssible to w0h1p w'ith us and to become part of our parish community. The PCC ¥naintains an overvicw of worship throughout th¢ parish and makes suggesiions on how our services can involve the tRany groups that livc within th¢ parish. Our serviccs and worshtp put laith into practice through prayer. scripture and music and 5acrdment. Whcn planning our activities for the year. the incumbeni attd the PCC have considered the ChaTity CommissÉoll's guidance on public nefit and. in micular the suppl¢mentary guIdae on charities for the adVaement of lIgIOn. We continue with a full panern of daÉly worship and prajer and have made ihe consciou5 decision to cease online worship with the ho that those yd to return to w0h1p will now feel confidcnt to do so. Mission ad evaylism Wc are now preparing for St Michael's l celebrntion of Consecratio Ev¢nts across the Wood Green"1 eam are being plann¢d and we are using this as a fresh opportunity to reach our into the surrounding community. Our work with Schools continue and ix)th the R¢ctor and the Team Vicar are involved with weekly acts of collective worship. In addition thcrc have a number of visits lo the churches from other schools within the ariS iK>und- Our Sunday School "followcrs continues to encourage our younger InemS and wafrhing our children grow in Confidence week by week is a re joy. Messy Church plays a huge role in our sister Church and Ts encouraging young families especially amongsl the Turkish speaking community. The Wednesday 'drop-in ci>ntinues and 15 back to full nUmr5 attending. This provides a gentle introduction io thc church family. and many have join£d us in church via the droTrin. Our work with tecnagers has grown significantly and have included so¢ incredible moments over the last year. This includes Sunday morning take-ovcr, when Ihc 'Youth Council, tk charge of worshtp on Mothering Sunday and ihe fe&st of the Transfiguration. Safegvarding The PCC has complied with its dity under section 5 of the Safeguarding atid Clergy Discipline Measure 2016 10 have regard to the House ol Bishops, guidante on safeguarding childn and vulnerable adults. Our parish safe-gUdlng officer (PSO) is Tendy Lindsav and Carol Booth is our Children s Champion. Both have undcrtaken additionai training during the year. We have an ¢xcellent relationship with our DI£e1n Safe-guarding officer and she has attcttded a PCC Elleeting and a Safe- guarding committe¢ meeting.
