The adoption of th8 new Di0￿san scheme for calculation of Parfsh share led to a lively debat8, and eventually a decision to adopt the scheme with a 5- year transltton perlod. An audit, commisslonad by the PCC, confirmed that ch51d protsctbn arrang8m8nts met the r8qulr8ments of the Manual and were belng effedlv8ly Implemantod. In addition. and as a part of our regular outreach into th8 local cnmmunty, we have SUpp￿ed a number of local charities with both res￿re83 end volunteers, the most recent being the Woklngham Food Bank proJecL FINANCIAL REVIEW The functbon of the Unrestrfcted Fund is to 8c¢ount for the day-ttrday admlnlstratk)n of the partsh. Ov8rall glvlng wbthin the Fund In 2021 was 0.5% lower than In the pre￿ouS year and, despite continulng controls ovér 8xpendltur8, resulted in a modest deficit of som8 £1,016.
