Structure and Governance The UK Friends of the Trasimeno Music Festival was first governed by its Trust Deed dated 29 April 2(K19 and was registered with the Charity Commission on 15 May 2￿9. Recruitment and appointment of Tru5tee5 The Charity Trustees are responsible for the control and management of the Charity. Trustees are appointed bv ordinèry resolution of the Board. The Trustees who served during the year to 31st December 2024 were as follows: Angela Hewttt Christopher Dean Andrew Glennon Prior (appointed on the03rd of December 20241 Risk Poliry The Trustees have identified all of the risks that the Charity Tvlay be exposed to and continue to monitor existing controls in place to mitigate those risks. Pubfic Benefrt The Charity Commi55ion in its Charitie5 and Public Benefit Guidance requires that there are two key principles to be met to show that an organisation's aims are for the public benefit. Firstly, there must be an identifiable benefit. Second, the benefit must be to the public ora sertion ofthe public. The Trustees confirm that in setting the Charitvs objectives and in planning its activities. that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission'5 guidance on public benefit when reviewing the Charitys aims and objectives.

We were pleased to See a large audience attend from all over the world-our best Since pre<ovid. In 2024 The U K Friend5 were able to contribute £33,389 towards the 2024 Tra5iffleno Music Festival. Aside from the general running of the festival. these funds especially helped with the concert of June 28. 2024 in which we presented the world-renowned gamba player, Jordi Savall- the concert on June 30. 2024 of the Valo Quartet Iwhich included two exceptional British musicians. Amy Norrington and Tim Crawford)-both events which took place in the Castle of the Knights of Malta in Magione: and final￿ the fascinating interview with one of the leading intellertU21s of our time. Sir Simon Schama. hosted by broadcaster Eric Frie5en. That event took place in the Sala dei Notari, Perugia on July 2. 2024. The Trustees remain grateful to the UK Friend5 withotrt whom the Charity would have difficulty in continuing it5 work in spreading the enjoyrnent and knowled8e of classical music.
