INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE P.C.C. OF ST MARY'S CHURCH, BIOXHAM This report on the accounts of the PCC for the year ending 31 December 2024, which are set out on pages l & 2, is in respect of an examination carried out accordance with the Church Accounting Regulations 20061"the Regulatlons'l and Section 145 of the Charitie5 Act 20111"the Act'l. RespertlvB re5ponslbilities of trustees and examiner A5 the members of the PCC yOLt a￿ responsible for the preparation of the accounts, and you consider that an audit is not required for this year under the ReBulations, that section 144121 of the Act does not apply and that an independent examination Is needed. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts under Section 145 of The Act, to follow procedures laid down In the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners under Section 145151 of the Act and to state whether particular matter5 hove come to myattention. The examlnatlon includes a review of the accounting records kept by the PCC and a compari50n of the accounts with those records. It also includes cortsidering any unusual items or disclosure5 in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters.
