Swavesey Festival Ltd aims to strengthen community links locally through events including music, drama, recreation, history and environment. All can participate & see the range of activities available.The Festival committee allows local clubs & organizations to demonstrate their skills in Festival Week every two years, while holding fundraising events throughout the period.
Objects: A To Promote And Advance Education For The Benefit Of The Community Of Swavesey In Cambridgeshire And The Surrounding Neighbourhood, Without Distinction, By Associating In A Common Effort To Hold, Organise And Develop A Festival Incorporating All Aspects Of The Arts Including, But Not Limited To, Drama, Music, Visual Arts, Literature And Film In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life Of The Said Inhabitantsb To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Swavesey And The Surrounding Area The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation On Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Inhabitants
