Youth and Families Matter provides the following support...Parenting SupportSchools Work for children with emotional difficultiesDetached youthworkFamily work, including befriendingPractical help, as an agency of Basics Bank project.A combined coffee and charity shop to help provide funds for the work carried out by YFM and to serve as a community base for the locality.
Objects: To Act As A Resource For Children, Young People And Families Living In Thetotton Area Of Hampshire Or Elsewhere (The Area Of Benefit) By Providingadvice And Assistance And Organising Programmes Of Physical,educational And Other Activities As A Means Of:(a) Advancing Their Lives And Developing Their Skills, Capacities Andcapabilities To Enable Them To Participate In Society Asindependent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;(b) Advancing Education;(c) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Ofsocial Welfare For People Living In The Area Of Benefit Who Haveneed By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Povertyor Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improvingthe Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons.2. The Relief Of Sickness And The Preservation Of Health Amongst Peopleliving In The Area Of Benefit By The Provision Of Information And Advicerelating To Healthcare And Parenting Issues.3. The Advancement Of Education And Training Of Adults In The Area Ofbenefit
