See:https://www.methodist.org.uk/forchurches/governance/cpd/ The purposes of the Methodist Church are and shall be deemed to have been since the date of union the advancement of a) the Christian faith in accordance with the doctrinal standards and the discipline of the Methodist Church; b) any charitable purpose for the time being of any Connexional, district, circuit, local or other organisation of the Methodist Church; c) any charitable purpose for the time being of any society or institution subsidiary or ancillary to the Methodist Church; d) any purpose for the time being of any charity being a charity subsidiary to the Methodist Church |

We believe we are called to be a church where people of all ages and backgrounds are supported in: loving and serving God loving and serving our neighbours, both local and global growing and sharing faith. We offer Methodist Christian worship, fellowship, service of our community and outreach, in the Hinckley Area and beyond. |

| Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. |
Para 1.20 | Hinckley Methodist Church provides a welcoming environment to anyone, being as it is an inclusive community. Hinckley Methodist Church holds regular worship services and this provision of regular public acts of worship is open to everyone. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events and services. Promoting the whole mission of the Church through activities generally and for other specific needs groups. And a host of other activities including supporting the wider community by hosting uniformed youth groups (Scouts & Guides), facilitating room rentals for a non-church pre-school, a meeting place for other groups such as a non-church community choir, and regular donations of food and toiletries are collected for the Hinckley Foodbank. |
The provision of storage accommodation for the Hinckley Baby Basics charity since 2022 has been a successful addition to the contribution of the Church to the wider community, supporting the work of midwives and other health workers for the new born.

Para 1.23 | Due to the timing of this reporting cycle in some recent years the outgoing amount has slightly exceeded income. Basically the charity is sound although like so many others recent times have been challenging. In the current year income has exceeded expenditure. |
