**institution subsidiary or ancillary to the Methodist Church;**

**welcoming environment to anyone, being**
**as it is an inclusive community.**
**Hinckley Methodist Church holds regular**
**worship services and this provision of**
**regular public acts of worship is open to**
**everyone.**
**Pastoral work including visiting the sick**
**and bereaved.**
**Promotion of Christianity through the**
**staging of events and services.**
**Promoting the whole mission of the**
**Church through activities generally and**
**for other specific needs groups.**
**And a host of other activities including**
**supporting the wider community by**
**hosting uniformed youth groups (Scouts**
**& Guides), facilitating room rentals for a**
**non-church pre-school, a meeting place**
**for other groups such as a non-church**
**community choir, and regular donations**
**of food and toiletries are collected for the**
**Hinckley Foodbank.**|
**The provision of storage accommodation for the Hinckley Baby Basics charity since 2022 has been a successful addition to the contribution of the Church to the wider community, supporting the work of midwives and other health workers for the new born.**
