These dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers augment the salaried staff and are an extremely valuable resource. We VIeW our aims, objectives and activities each year by reviewing what we have achieved and the outcomes ol our work. Every year we receive feedback from many ol those who have adopted and loslered dogs and cats from us to tell us how the love and companionship of their Gables cal or dog has improved their lives. Wè provide a broad range ol ongoing advice and guidance to our clients care lor their cats and dogs. We offer support and advice to anyone struggling to care lor theirdog or cat and when it's the best thing lor everyone. we lake in dogs and cats and find them new homes. Dogs and cats are brought to us for all sorts ol reasons. in¢luding by people who are siruggling due lo changes in accommodation, financial problems, relationship breakdowns. and family crises, as well as the anirnals behaviour. We never judge, oftering pea ol mind and a safe, reliable way lo rehornè a pel. 8y helping pèople to adopt dogs, who neèd regular exercise as part ol their care, we provide the catalyst for people lo get fitter and healthier. Our Animal Care Card scheme provide5 peace of tnind for pèi owners, with the promise that we will care for their dog or cal in the event of their death. We rehome feral cats which helps local eommunilies who suffer from over population problerns. More commonly they can simply be dogs and cats who are elderly aniyor hav8 medical conditions thai can be very costly or have behaviour problems that can be incredibly diffi¢ull lo overcome. The charily wlll treat any m8dical or behaviour problems the anirnals may have and then assess individual needs as far as rehorning is concerned. Woolie Goldberg (2 y8ars old) and Jessica Barker (5-6 monlhs olLIJ were very malnourished and extremely Irighrened ol everyone ancl everything. Neither appeared lo have ever been walked on a lea¢J or been socialised th htJm8ns at all. essica Barker was soon &doptedby an kmazing lamily who already ownety a Vizsla.
