In March 2012 the TTUStees app)intsd RathbO￿ (Kendal office) as their financial expert advisers to whom they transferred £1fy).000 for investment. At the same lime the Trustees provided Rathbones with their formal inve$trMent policy date 19th April, 2012. An additional £50,000 was transferred to Rathbones ￿ 19th November, 2014 to te heks by them on the Same terms. The Trustse$' formal investment policy wa6 updated on 23rrt August. 2021. addilKJnal £50.000 was transfèrred to Ralhbones on Ihe 30th October. 2018 and a further £20,c￿ was paid Into the fvnd on 16th May 2022, to be held by them on the same tsrms. Under the Funding Agreemen( the Trnsteos were to allocatè eèrtsin to a $ub-fvnd lo be held by them specifically for educational purposes. Tho sum allocatgd for the benefft of Cracoe School during the year amounted to £9,746 After making this and Oiher grants lotalling £10,900, abng wrth expenses of £2,427 shown in the aecounts {which induded £2.030 for defibrillator maintenancel, the Trustees had cash assets of £39,542 left available to carry foTward into the CUTrgnt ygar. These Tr￿)ney5 were held at the y8ar- end accounts with CAF Ban The agreement with Tamw Limrtwj was renvHed and arn￿tded and will be extended for a further 10 years until 2039.

Grants of £3.000. whth did not require an aP￿￿tiOn, were also approved and paHJ lo eac of the three Pafish Meetings- Cracoe. Rylstone and Hetion cum Bordley. In total, applicationsjgrants approved during the financial year of 6th April. 2022 to 5th Aprll, 2023 amounted lo £ 25,146. This amount includes paynnt of £ 9.746 to Cracoe Primary School. Grants paid within this fina￿la[ year a￿Unted to £25.004. The Charity has conts'nued to ma#rtain and renvw the S Communty Defibnllators. In Mar¢h 2023, the Trustees renewed their annual fuI￿page-adwertthrn&nt art￿. In August 2022 the Secre* wrote an artKle in the Parish Magazine promots'ng the Hardship Grant (Jue to the potentsal probIen￿ caused by the very h￿h cost of heating, due in part trj the UkrainelRussia conflict. The Secretary also contribuled a very detailed art￿ vthrh appeared in the August 2023 Parish Magazine to keep Ihe Communty Informed about the progress of the Chanty and some of the applications il has funded. The charity also uses local Partsh nOt￿e1)oard9 to inform thal residents when necessary. In addition, the Charity's Facebcok pa9e ￿nb"nUeS to rai% awareness of the rts aGINities within the lty￿1 ¢ommunity. The funding of the Chanty appears lo be secured for a further decade following Tannac's ￿nt successfijl planning application.
