Section C ectives and activities The Poynton and Distn'ct Round Table is an organisation for men that meet on regular occasions in order to further friendships, add something to their local communty through fundraising, participation or support and enjoy a range of lrf&broadening experiences. Full membership is limited to those belween the ages of 18 and 45. Summary of the objects of the charity set out In its govoming document Poynton and District Round Table (PDRT) undertake two main fundraising activitEs eath year. the Bonfire and Fireworks display at Poynton Pool and the Santa Float throughoLrt Poynton. All resultant proffts from these events. after deduction of necessary setup costs, are retained in the PDRT tharity account for distribution to local good causes in accordan￿ with our objectives. Bonfire and Firework Display at Poynton Pool, Poyrrton, Cheshire on P November 2022 PDRT typically organises and runs a bonfire and firework display at Poynton Pool on the Saturday nearest to 5th November. This is PDRfs main fundraising event and is attended by approximately 4,000 to 5,000 members of the public. Tickets were sold online in advance only. Summary of the main achievements of the charlty during the year Main Charitable Revenue Raising: The November 2022 bonfire and fireworks 8v8nt realised a net profit for the charTty of just under £38.OLXI. The December 2022 Santa fioat collections raised a profit of over £1900. Chartiable Donations: A total of £17,725 of tharitable donations have Lten made in the period induding pledges which were not completed at the previous reporting date. Section E Financial review Poynton and Distrid Round Table does not have a formal policy on reserves. However, the outstanding fijnds in our charity account as at 30th April 2022 (after all014￿n9 for pledged donations) are held for the following purposes.. To respond to future communty service requests betsveen 1 May 2023 and our next fundraising events in Novemter and December 2023 as we have no other sources of revenue during this time.
