Provide a way for the public to raise their own views and concerns about Thurrock Council or local issues, to increase their abilities to participate more fully in their community.Increase community capacity by running events or signposting routes into training or participationWork in partnership with public and private organisations to provide and increase services needed locally
Objects: The Charity's Objects (The Objects) Areto Develop The Capacity And Skills Of The Members Of The Socially And Economically Disadvantaged Community Of Aveley In Such A Way That They Are Better Able To Identify, And Help Meet, Their Needs And To Participate More Fully In Societythe Promotion For The Benefit Of The Public Of Urban Or Rural Regeneration In Areas Of Social And Economic Deprivation (And In Particular In Aveley) By All Or Any Of The Following Means: (A)the Advancement Of Education, Training Or Retraining, Particularly Among Unemployed People, And Providing Unemployed People With Work Experience:(b) The Creation Of Training And Employment Opportunities By The Provision Of Workspace, Buildings, And/or Land For Use On Favourable Terms: (C) The Maintenance, Improvement Or Provision Of Public Amenities: (D) The Provision Of Recreational Facilities For The Public At Large Or Those Who By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances, Have Need Of Such Facilities: (E) The Provision Of Public Health Facilities And Childcare:(f) The Promotion Of Public Safety And Prevention Of Crime: (G) Such Other Means As May From Time To Time Be Determined Subject To The Prior Written Consent Of The Charity Commissioners For England And Wales."to Further Or Benefit The Residents Of Aveley And The Neighbourhood, Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions By Associating Together The Said Residents And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Leisure Time Occupation With The Objective Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Residents.in Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power:to Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre And To Maintain Or Manage Or Co-Operate With Any Statutory Authority In The Maintenance And Management Of Such A Centre For Activities Promoted By The Charity In Furtherance Of The Above Objects.
