| Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year |
The trust has provided much needed support to 149 poor orphans and 500 widows who mainly reside in the eastern part of Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone, whichis a very deprived area that has a population of predominantly, extremely poor people. The orphan sponsorship and food parcel programmes had ensured that the poor orphans have a chance to be educated and provided with the essentials to live on, which in turn would reduce crime rate and provide the wider society with educated work force for the general good of the nation. |
