Walserfs Tanzania Charity operates entrrely with volunlary staff in the UK for administration, fundraising and participation in annual visits. These Charty volunteers plus volunteer partners in RepubliG of Ireland & Gemiany allow the Charity to operate vlith minimum costs. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year A minimum of one charity visrt to Ifunda is undertaken each year by Trustees and other chosen volunteers to monitor the progress of charty activFties. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and travel restrtctions there was no charity visÉt in 2020. The charity put in place addrtional monitoring to ensure the educational sponsorship scheme continued to run smoothly. Close communication with the chaiity contatts in Ifunda ensured that the charity were kept frJlly up to date with activibes and any issues arising with the vrc. ICTC a1 the hostel. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2020.
Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
