IT was reported that due notice of the meeting had been given by the General Secretary and that a quorum was present. All the trustees and out of 213 members 122 members attended via the Zoom. Apologies for absence had been received from M N Kalyanasundaram - Priest. The President confirmed that he had informed Management committee of the purpose of the meeting Accordingly, the meeting was declared open at 3.20pm.

It was discussed that confidentiality is an important part. What is discussed within the meeting should stay within the meetings and not be discussed with anyone else. New members who join the trust should take this procedures and culture on board. Other than the public officers and Court of Law the information not to be shared openly with everyone.

6) Priest

Members requested the need for a full-time priest or two part time Priest to be at the centre during the opening hours. It was pointed out to the members that employing a priest is very hard and unachievable task. This is due to aging existing priest and their medical condition. Therefore, the trust to contact the solicitors to find out the procedures to get the priest from overseas. It was mentioned it is very difficult to sponsor a Priest from India / Sri Lanka, therefore Mr Mugunthan is nominated as most suitable person to find a suitable solution.

Members pointed out the need to employee two part time priest or a full-time priest once the COVID-19 -19 pandemic is over.

7) Covid 19

Volunteers are stepping up to help communities deal with the devastating impact of the coronavirus. As a result, this increased demand, proportion of trust income distributed towards the project. Members agree to contribute more if there is further need.

Members and volunteers could take part in fundraising activities. A satellite committee will be formed to make grant applications to Local authorities and other funding bodies. Mr Mugunthan pointed out the need of concentrating on applying for external funding to Additional charitable activities and projects. This can be carried forward once the certified annual accounts audited. 12) Youth Development Mr S Trust will continue to support the Youth Development via online Muguntha (Zoom) Teaching (Indian Drums, Classical Singing and Vedic n Class) Though there is a high call for a weekend yoga Classes, this will be put on hold until lock down is over. 13) Any other matters Mr Members requested to maintain the jewelry details. SRI VEL MURUGAN AALAYAM TRUST TRUSTEES' ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2020

The Trustees present their annual report together with the financial statements and Independent examiner's report of the charity for the year ended 31st December 2020.

The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of recommended practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Thae charity is controlled by its governing document, a deed of trust and constitutes set by the charity commission.

This year also the charity, with the aid of sound financial management and and support of its members and volunteers generated a satisfactory financial outcome with a net increase in funds.

Going Concern

The board of trustees has the reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.

Disclosure of information to auditors

Each of the trustees has confirmed that there is no information of which they are aware which is relevant to the audit, but of which the independent examiner is unaware. They have further confirmed that they have taken appropriate steps to identify such relevant information and establish that independat examiner is aware of such information.

1 Accounting Policies

Basis of Preparation

The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention, in accordance with applicable accounting standards and the Statement of Recommended Practice, "Accounting and Reporting by Charities", issued in March 2005.

Tangible fixed assets and depreciation

Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculated to write off the cost less estimated residual value of each asset over its expected useful life, as follows:

Equipment - 20% on written down value. Fixtures & fittings - 5% on written down value.
