1 Accounting Policies
General
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with applicable accounting standards and the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP 2005)) on Accounting and Reporting by Charities and the Charities Act 1993.
Incoming Resources
the period in which they are incurred. Resources expended include attributable VAT which cannot be recovered.
Reserves Policy
The Trustees consider that the reserves of the Charity relate to the General and Renovatio Funds of the Village Hall which are retained as follows:
General Fund - to cover the anticipated running costs of the village hall Renovation Fund - to cover the future renovation costs to the fabric of the village hall
2 Tangible Fixed Assets – Freehold Land
there is no value for these fixed assets shown in the accounts.
3 Schedule of Activities for Generating and Expending Funds
Separate sheets enclosed (Pages 2/3).
4 Grant - South Northamptonshire Council
The Charity received a General Restart Grant of £8,000 and a General Restart Top Up Grant of £1,500 in relation to COVID-19 towards meeting its ongoing running costs. These grants are reflected in the accounts as Income of the General Fund.
