ANDREW KANE PARTNERSHIP TRUST Trustees Report For the year ended 31st March 2025 The followlng sorved as Trustses durfng the year: John Bridger Nick Lahey-Bean David Shinn (Treasurer) Peter Styles (Chaifman) Constltutlon and Name The chaiity was established by Trust Deed dated 14 June 2008 and registered with the Chaiity Commission on 14 July 2008 - charity number 1124971. All Trustees are required to dedare their belief in and allegiance to the Trust's Statement of Beliefs. New Trustees may be appointed by a resolution of the Trustees passed by a majonty of the Trustees. Objects oftho Trust To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Trust's Statement of Beliefs in the UK or the worfd. To relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good heatth by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind, induding the Prols1On of counselling and support in the UK or the wider world. Revlew of Actlvltlos The Trust has made steady progress. The three main areas of activity listed below have been further developed. 1. Bible Schools 2. Support to pastors, missionaries and thurche8 3. Support for those working on behalf of the Jewish people The Trustees have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the C¢Jmmission in exenising their powers or duties. Achlevements & Perfomiance This has been a steady year with work and seNices provided along similar lines to previous years. A pattern of nmnistry is ncm well established and continues to be appreciated by those who benefrt from the Trust. The level of preaching and teaching in UK churches has shown a slight dedine this year but much increased via podcasts in various churches in Africa through our work Page2of6
with African Pastors Fellowship. Moral and spiritual help to church leaders has continued as they experien the ongoing stress of a post-pandemic world. The provision of prayer and fellowship gives perspective and reduces isolation and is much appreciated. The Trust continues its international perspective through financial assistan to the charity Ezra UK, fostering work supporting Jewish people especially in Eastern Europe; and similarly to the work of the charity African Pastors Fellowship, fostering Clergy support in East Africa. The moral and spiritual support to Christian organisations and churches working in the Ukraine continues. Flnancial Revlew The Trust is committed to applying £1,000 of its income from preachinglteaching to a Gifts Fund to support pastors and missionaries. At 3181 March 2025 this money had been spent and so there is no reserve for this purpose. The Trust has a financial reserves policy to hold a sum in reserve which would cover three months operaling costs and at 31•t March 2025 the sum of £6,000 was held in reseNe for this purpose. The Trust does not hold funds as custodian trustee on behalf of others. The primary source of funding for the Trust comes from voluntary income. Other income is generaled from preaching and teaching carried out on behalf of the Trust by Revd Andrew Kane. These Account8 have been prepared on the receipts and payntS basis under section 42(3) of the 1993 Act and have been Subject to an independent examination. INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORTTO THE TRUSTEES OF THEANDREW KANE PARTNERSHIP TRUST I report on the Accounts of the Trust for the year ended 31st March 2025, which are set (xrt on pages 5- 6. Respectlve responsibilities of Trustses and Examlner The charitls trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act) and revisions - 2011 ACT however an independent examination is needed. It is my resfvx)nsibility to: examine the accounts under section 43 of the 1993 Act. to follow the prlureS laid down in the general direcions given by the Charity Commi&8ion (under section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Ad, and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basls of Indapondont Examlnor's Report My examination was carried out in accordan( with general directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination indudes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with th08e records. It also indudes consideration of any unusual ilems or disdosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do provide all the evidenc8 that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair, view and the report 18 limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
