ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 5APRIL 2022 The Trustees present their report along with the accounts for the year ended 5 April 2022. Strueture. Govemance and Managamant The constitution of the charty is set OLrt on page 1. The Trustees who have served during the year and since the year end are set out on page 1. Future Trustees must be appointed by resolution of the Trustees. The Trustees must hold at least one meeting each year. A quorum at a meeting of the Trustees 15 three Trustees. Decisions may be determined by a simple majority of the votes cast at a meeting. The market value of investments al the year*nd amounted to £1.152,606 12021-. £1.357.804} and the balance on the Stixkbroker Capital account amounted lo £7.392 12021= £4,686}. The fall in value of the investment portfolio at the year end relates to the purchase of a new investment propety during the year. The Trustees will conb.nue to closety monrtor the value of its investments and the level of investment income. Achievements and perforrnance The property in Boumemouth is still being lived in by the Same Syrian family. We are happy with the daily support that the staff at Intemational Care Ne￿rk gives for them. The couple now have another young child and the famity have setlled really well into their new lffe in the UK. The property remains in a good state of repair. In the past year, the Trust acquired a new property in Portsmouth. which ha5 been leased to Hope into Action, a UK charity helping churche5 house the hOMe￿S5. After some minor renovations. the property is now being occupied by an Afghani famity who were reSett￿d in the UK as part of a govemment scheme. This propety is in a good state of repair. The investment income received by the Trustees during the year has enabled them to make grants to 48 {2021: 811 charities behveen £500 and £4,000 with a wide variety of chatilable interests, benefrfing k)cal, national and overseas communities. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity Iruslees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111.lhe Act").
