Wem Playmates Nursery is located in the middle of Wem and provides a service to pre-school children aged 2-5 years at a reasonable cost so that all the pre-school children of Wem and the surrounding areas can have an opportunity to have a good educational start to life.
Objects: The Aims Of The Pre-School Are To Enhance The Development And Education Of Childrenprimarily Under Statutory School Age By Encouraging Parents To Understand And Providefor The Needs Of Their Children Through Community Groups And By:(a) Offering Appropriate Play, Education And Care Facilities, Family Learning Andextended Hours Groups, Together With The Right Of Parents To Take Responsibility Forand To Become Involved In The Activities Of Such Groups, Ensuring That Such Groupsoffer Opportunities For All Children Whatever Their Race, Culture, Religion, Means Orability;(b) Encouraging The Study Of The Needs Of Such Children And Their Families Andpromoting Public Interest In And Recognition Of Such Needs In The Local Areas;(c) Instigating And Adhering To And Furthering The Aims And Objects Of The Pre-Schoollearning Alliance.
