We run a MADD (music, art, dance and drama} Club. This involves weekly term time sessions of music, dance and drama and activity days during school holidays which feature arts and craft and/or music, dance and drama. Two of these events during school holidays culminate in a performance at end of the day to an invited audience for the children and young people to highlight what they have achieved. The clubs and activlty days are for the special needs child/young person and siblings. We purchase a whole performance of the local Christmas Pantomime allowing 120 plus families the opportunity to access an event that they may not have been able or confident enough to due to their special needs childlyoung person. This is an activity that regular families tske for granted. We cover the cost of all the seats and each child is given a light up toy and every attendee is offers an ice cream and a drink. Section D Achievements and performance Weekly running of MADD (Music, Arts, Dance and Drama) clubs successfully for the whole year. Clubs run weekly during term time for local special needs young people and their families. Music session have had full capacity, dance which has 2 sessions and drama have been well attended over the year. Summary ofthe maln achievements of the chartty during the year Purchase of the whole performance of the local pantomime which we then sell at a considerably reduced rate to local special needs families also including sundry items for the young people. We reach in excess of 140 families which is about 420 seats. We held a charity football match for local special needs young people raising funds for the charity. This raised in excess of £7000. Our February festival was well attending where young people come along and join in activities including music, dance and crafts and at the end of the day put on a performance to an invited audience.
