Para 1.20 | In 2023 the main achievements were: In 2022 we started to sell a particle detector which records the effects of cosmic rays interacting with the Earth’s atmosphere. We are not aware of any similar device being available for sale and the sales indicate that there is a strong interest in cosmic rays from the astronomy community. The particle detector is being used by schools and universities for teaching physics (a STEM subject). We have supplied educational establishments in the UK, Spain, South Korea, Ireland, Germany, Macau and the USA. The detector was originally developed for undergraduate teaching and we will continue to encourage its use in STEM. |
