Endowment funds are Subject to specific condStlons by donors that the capital must be malntalned by the Charlty. 1.3 Income Income is recognised when the Charity Is le8ally entitled to It after any performance condltlons have been met, the amounts can be measured rellably, and it is piobable that income will be received. Cash donation5 are recognised on receipt. Other donations are recoinlsed once the Charity has been notlfled of the donation, unless performance conditlons require deferral of the amount. Income tax recaverable In relatlon to donations received under Glft Ald or deeds of covenant is recognised at the tlme of the donatlon. Direct Costs attributable to a single activity are allocated directly to that activity.
