THE CHARITY PROMOTES COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR, AMONGST OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATIONS,THE PLAYING OF FOOTBALL AND OTHER SPORTS CAPABLE OF IMPROVING HEALTH. THE CHARITY ADVANCES THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE. ITS CORE ACTIVITY PROGRAMME INCLUDES SCHOOLS COACHING, HOLIDAY COURSES, AFTER AND PRE SCHOOL COACHING AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES
Objects: The Charity's Objects Are For The Benefit Of The Public Generally And, In Particular, The Inhabitants Of North East Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire And Their Surrounding Areas And Aim To: (a) Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Providing Facilities For The Playing Of Association Football And Other Sports Capable Of Improving Health (?facilities? In This Clause 2 Means Land, Buildings, Equipment And Organising Sporting Activities); (b) Provide And Assist In Providing Facilities For Sport, Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Such Persons Who Have Need For Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life; And (c) Advance The Education Of Children And Young People Through Such Means As The Trustees Think Fit In Accordance With The Law Of Charity. 2.2 Nothing In These Articles Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The Charity For Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Any Statutory Provision Regarding The Meaning Of The Word "charitable" Or The Words "charitable Purposes" In Force In Any Part Of The United Kingdom.
