Inter-faith visits, information and activities. Faith briefings for schools etc. Annual printed Newsletter. Help to police on faith issues, IAG .Interfaith projects for the benefit of the local and world communities. Promoting understanding, respect and tolerance among faiths and philosophies.
Objects: The Promotion Of Religious Harmony For The Benefit Of The Public By:a)to Promote Inter-Faith And Multi-Faith Education, Information, Dialogue And Communication, Thus Overcoming Any Isolationism Or Misunderstanding Amongst Diverse Religious Groups.b) To Bring Together Local Representatives Of Religious Denominations In Periodic Meetings To Discuss Avenues Of Input Into Local Civic Activities.c) To Assist And Collaborate With Local Voluntary Organisations Providing Manpower Assistance, And, Just As Importantly, Creating, On A Multi-Faith Basis, A Spiritual Dimension To Such Activities Within The Borough Of Elmbridge('the Borough' Hereafter).d)to Arrange Cultural Activities Involving Religious, Scientific, Artistic, Social And Other Relevant Disciplines, So As To Break Down The Divide Between Religious And Non-Religious Thoughts, Wisdoms And Tenets.e)to Provide The Council Of The Borough With A Readily Available Forum And Contact Point, Wherever There Is A Need On A Multi-Faith Basis For Consultation Or Assistancef)to Provide A Means For All Age Groups To Be Involved In Multi-Faith Activitiesg)to Acknowledge The Need For A Readily Identifiable Multi-Faith Focus Or Point Of Contact For Individuals, Parents, Social Groups Etc, Should A Need Arise For Consultation Or Assistance
