Achlevements and perfomianca The Get Set Programmes were extremely active throughout 2021, bolstered by the postponed 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Game5. Duè fro Ihis. the moin focus fot Gel Set was Ihe Trovel lo Tokyo progromme, which hod been supported Ihrough a funding extension from Sport England and Spirit of 2012 through lo October 2021. From October 2021, attention tumed to the Bound for Beijing Programme, which ran through lo May 2022 and has also been supported through a funding extension from Sport England and Spirit of 2012. Supporting these. the Get Set Core programmes continued to provide opportunities lor schools and individuals to engage in activities throvgh the online resources. In tolal a minimum 013,638 schoo15 were engaged in Get Set Core prograrnmes, which represents 1,599.390 pupils on roll. Travel lo Tokyo The Travel to Tokyo progromme ho5 focused on inactive children aged 5-1 l and their families. The ogramme used Ihe inspiration of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games to encouroge children to get active, involving their families and local communilies on their 'joumey' lo Tokyo ond helping familie5 to discover new way5 of being active tog&ther. on a more regular basis.
