The Church has safeguarding policy to ensure the safety of all who come to worship. We have dedicated welfare personnels to assist individuals with various socio-religious and socio-economic needs. The trustees oversee the day-to-day activities and running of the Church to fulfil the object of the Charity . The Trustees consult regularly with members of the Church in deciding on key issues of the Church. Section C Ob"ectives and activities To promote and enhance the spiritual, physical, and socio -economic wellbeing of members through corporate worship and outdoor activities. Offering corporate worship on Sundays, helping individuals with socio- religious as well as socio-economic needs. The church organises evangelism and weekly radio broadcast in the community in fulfilment of its objectives. In planning our activities for the year, we reflected on the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit at our trustee meetings and provided the following: We provided benevolence to members of the church and the local community members. Our evangelism programme helped to restore vulnerable members of the public suffering from marital difficulties, social exclusion and family life issues. We helped build spiritual friendship among members and impacted positively on the spiritual and moral well-being of adults and youth members of the church through workshops and weekly prayer sessions. We distributed audio teachings about Christian virtues to members of the public and reached out to countless homes with our radio evangelism broadcast on Saturdays. Section D Achievements and performance Sunday Worship Service: The Church meet on every Sunday throughout the year (52 Weeks) to worship. Attendance to our worship service range between 69-85 worshippers per Sunday. Members enjoyed spiritual songs, bible teachings and sermons. The church regularly received visiting preachers and brethren from London and beyond who came to edify and worshipped with the congregation. Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year Conversion and Baptism: Through the evangelism programme of the Church, four members of the public converted(baptised) into the Christian when they accepted Christ as their personal saviour. They have subsequently been worshipping with the church while studying the doctrine and teachings of the Church of Christ as a non-denominational Church. Community Socialisation and Trip.. In keeping with the objective of promoting the physical and social wellbeing of members , the Church successfully organised a trip to Brighton for outdoor activities and socialisation .To this end, the Church organised a variety of socio- physical activities across the age groups in athletics, football, tag of war. and singing to improve the social and physical well-being of the members etc. TAR March 2012
