During the year the endowment was subject to unrealised defKit on valuation of £42,624 and at 30 September 2025 was valued at É645,822. During the year, unrestricted investment income was received of £9,999. Charitable exFenditure amounted to £29,489 and unrestricted funds, after transfer5 of endowment income of £18,847, amounted to £252,554 at 30 September 2025. The Trustees aim to swnificantly raise the Fevel of charitable expenditure in future years. RESERVES POLICY Endowment funds are required to be maintsined intact, subjeLt to fluctuations in market value. The Trustees have agreed a policy whereby vnrestritted funds are held as liquid assets. INVESTMENT POUCY The Trustees have considered the most appropriate Frt)licy for investing funds. The Trustees have invested endowment funds in COIF Charities Investment Fund Income Units and unrestritted funds primarily in COIF Deposit Fund. The Trustees consider that the retums on these funds are satisfactory. RISK REVIEW The Trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks to which the charity is exposed and to ensu￿ appropriate controls are in pla￿ to provide reasonable assuran￿ against fraud and error. The Trustees have considered the risks to whith the charity is exposed and have eSta￿iShed systems for mitigating those risks. GRANT MAKING POLICY The Trustees are adively encouraging new applications for grants in accordan￿ wlth the objects of the charity and are extendiro I(￿1 awareness of the tharity. RESPEcfivE RESPONSIBILITY OF TRusfEES AND EXAMJNER The charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The tharity's Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under Section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
