opwrtunty to comment on the artivities of the chanty during the perir)J.
MANAGEMENT OF THE CHARITY
The d)arity was estsblished under a Dedaration of TNst on 4 January 2007 and was
registered with the Charity Commissioners on 13 Septemter 2IXI7 (Registered Number
1120841).
The main c**jects of the charity, as amended by three 5￿jaI Resolutions at a Special
Meetings of the Trustees on 21st February 2012, 24th November 2015 and 11 March 2025,
are:.
In benefitting persons i)ver the age of thity years who live or reside, or have lived or resided
for a period or periods of ten years or more, within the Parish of Shrewley, Warwickshire, or
the adja￿nt Parishes and who have worked for or prOV￿ed benefits for the said Parish of
Shrewley, or the adja￿nt Parishes and who are suffering finanaal hardship and are in need
of finandal assistan￿.

REVIEW OF THE PERIOD
The charity's endowment created income of £28,846 to supp)rt charitsble activity. During
the year the endowment was subject to unrealised defKit on valuation of £42,624 and at 30
September 2025 was valued at É645,822. During the year, unrestricted investment income
was received of £9,999. Charitable exFenditure amounted to £29,489 and unrestricted funds,
after transfer5 of endowment income of £18,847, amounted to £252,554 at 30 September
2025. The Trustees aim to swnificantly raise the Fevel of charitable expenditure in future
years.
RESERVES POLICY
Endowment funds are required to be maintsined intact, subjeLt to fluctuations in market
value. The Trustees have agreed a policy whereby vnrestritted funds are held as liquid
assets.
INVESTMENT POUCY
The Trustees have considered the most appropriate Frt)licy for investing funds. The Trustees
have invested endowment funds in COIF Charities Investment Fund Income Units and
unrestritted funds primarily in COIF Deposit Fund. The Trustees consider that the retums on
these funds are satisfactory.
RISK REVIEW
The Trustees have a duty to identify and review the risks to which the charity is exposed and
to ensu￿ appropriate controls are in pla￿ to provide reasonable assuran￿ against fraud
and error. The Trustees have considered the risks to whith the charity is exposed and have
eSta￿iShed systems for mitigating those risks.
GRANT MAKING POLICY
The Trustees are adively encouraging new applications for grants in accordan￿ wlth the
objects of the charity and are extendiro I(￿1 awareness of the tharity.
PUBLIC BENEFrr
The Trustees have had due regard to the guidance putrAished by The Charity Commissioners
on public benefit and ￿)nsIder that the objectNes arnl adivittes of the tharity fulfi5 their
requirement.
STATEMENT OF TRusfEES RESPONSIBILrrIES
The Trustees are reSWnsit￿e for preparing financial ststements for each financial year and
submitting the ststements to the Charity CommiSs￿nerS in accordan￿ with the provisions of
the Charities Act 2011.

The Trustees are resp)n5ible for keeFing proper aco)unting records with respect to its
transactions and its assets and liabilities which disdose, with reasonable accuracy at any
time, the financial tx)sition of the Charity. Trustees are also responsible for the
establishment and rna1ntenan￿ of a satlsfartory System of control of its tooks of account, its
cash hddings and all its receipts and rern1ttan￿ to enable them to ensure that the financial
statements compw with the Dedaration of Trust dated 4 February 2004, subject to the Deed
of Variation5 dated 9 May 2007, 21 February 2012, 24 November 2015 and 11 March 2025.
The Trustees are also reswnsible for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence for
taking reasonable steps for the prevention and deteCt￿n of fraud. The Tru5tee5 have
fulfilled these responsibilities to the best of their ability.

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 30 Septern￿r 2025, which are set
out on pages 6 to 11.
RESPEcfivE RESPONSIBILITY OF TRusfEES AND EXAMJNER
The charity's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The tharity's
Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under Section 144 (2) of the
Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under Sects'on 145 of the 2011 Art;
to follow the prc(edures laid down in the general Directions given by the
Charity Commission under SeL*on 145 (5) (b) of the 2011 Art;
and
to stste whether partKular matters have come to my attention
BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
My examination was carried out in accordano with the general t)ireLtions given by the
Charity Commission. An examination indudes a review of the accountsng records kept by the
charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disdosures in the accounts and seeking explanations
from you os Trustees Con￿rning any such matters. The prccedures undertaken do not
provide all the eviden￿ that would be requir&J in an audit and consequently no opinion is
given as to whether the accounts present a "true and fair view" and the ￿port is limited to
those matters set out in the statement below.

GENERAL INFORMATION AND BASIS OF PREPARATION
The finanaal ststements have been prepared urKler the historical cost convention.
The d)arity constitutes a public ￿￿efit entity as defined by FRS 102. The financial
statements have ￿en p￿pared in accordan￿ with the Accounting and Reporting ty
Charities: Statement of Recommended practi￿ applicable to tharities preparing their
accounts in accordance with the Financial Re￿rtIng Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of I￿ land (FRS 102) issu&J on 16 July 2014 (as updated through Update Bulletin I
published on 2 February 2016), the Finanaal Rewrting Standard applicable in the United
Kingdom and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) and UK Generally Accepted Accounting Prattio.
The charity has applied Uwlate Bulletin l as published on 2 February 2016 and d¢)es not
indude a cash flow statement on the grounds that it is applying FRS 102 Section IA.
INVESTMENTS
Investments are valued at market value. Investment gains and losses a￿ recc*Jnlsed In the
Statement of Financial Activities.
INCOMING RESOURCES
Income from investments is accounted for on an accn￿lS basis.
Donations, legacies and grants are t￿ated as income in the Fericmj of receipt.
RESOURCES EXPENDED
Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis.
Grants a￿ recognlsed On￿ approved and fomally Committ￿ by the Trustees.
FUND ACCOUNTING
