The area of benefit is determined as Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Report of the Trustees on the Activity of the Charity

The trustees present the independently examined statement of income and expenditure and balance sheet of the charity, in accordance with the adopted accounting policy, for the year ended 31[st] August 2020. The Trustees met once during the financial year. The financial position is reviewed by the Governing Body through the accounts and financial summaries presented to the Finance Committee.

During the year a number of educational trips were arranged for the benefit of pupils. These were largely self-funding through voluntary parental contributions. They included a day trip to Silverstone, Wimbledon, Natural History Museum. We also had visits to Chessington World of Adventures, West Midlands Safari Park Residential and Harry Potter World.

Various events were also arranged in support of other charitable organisations.

Trustees Responsibilities

The Trustees are required to prepare Financial Statements for each financial year which gives a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the trust and of the surplus or deficit for that period. In preparing those Financial Statements, the Trustees are required to: -

Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently
Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent
State whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the Financial Statements.
Prepare the Financial Statements on the going basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the Trust will continue.

The Trustees are responsible for

Keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Trust.
Safeguarding the Charity’s assets and hence for taking reasonable steps for prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities
