Activities
The Charity exists in order to preach the Gospel to the unsaved, provide worship facilities to the membership and wider congregation and to provide fellowship and support for each other. At the same time, in recognition of our evangelistic role, it exists to continue the charitable work of Longton Community Church
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are Specifically Restricted To The Advancement Of The Christian Faith, The Prevention And Relief Of Poverty, The Advancement Of Education, The Relief Of Sickness And The Preservation Of Health, The Relief Of Those In Need Because Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Disadvantage And The Rehabilitation And Education Of Offenders In Such Ways As The Trustees In Their Absolute Discretion Think Fit. Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing, The Charity's Activities Shall Include The Operation Of A Church In Central Lancashire (Or Other Locations) And Associated Services Advancing The Christian Faith And The Provision Of Advice, Assistance And Other Services.
