The numbers have increased sub31anlialty over the past few years. The bréèd is ￿ComIng increasingly more popular in new ¥Te?s of the country is attractive to both smaUholder¥, comm•rcial breed due for many fanners wshing for an easy lambing female. The breed ¢onlinu¢$ to b$ 8 main attraction at many of Ihe main 3hryw8 and has seen an inuease in member showing and shows offering dedicated classes. The committee maintsins vigilan¢e of the shvmng of sheep and the prèsentation of the breed for both breed lype and any aclivhties whith they consider detrimental to the breed, rnembers or thè society. Anyone found to be contrary lo the benefit of the mèmbers and or the breed is dealt wlih in and 8dvisory way or through our N8wsletter and anyone continuing to usg una￿eptable pracii5e is dealt with by Ihè soci•ty committ88 as they see fft.
