Pro Corda Trust exists to provide for and conduct the education of young persons and others in the whole art, philosophy and theory of music, particularly chamber music.

Objects: To Provide For And Conduct The Education Of Young Persons And Others In The Whole Art, Philosophy And Theory Of Music, Particularly Chamber Music, And Ancillary To This Main Object But Not Further Or Otherwise The Charity May Do All Or Any Of The Following Things:a) Establish And Carry On Schools Or Colleges For The Teaching Instruction Assistance Or Advice Of The Young And Persons Of All Ages In The Said Art Philosophy And Theory And For The Training Of Teachers Therein Whether Such Teachers And Persons Are Connected With The Charity Or Not And To Provide For The Holding Of Classes For Students And Others To Engage Teachers And Lecturers And All Other Persons (Whether Paid Or Honorary) For The Said Purposes Or Any Of Them;b) Promote And Carry On Public Meetings Study Groups Conference Lectures Concerts Display Exhibitions And Musical And Dramatic Performances And By The Circulation Of Information To Invite And Encourage Public Interest In And Support Of The Charity;c) Establish And Award Prizes And Scholarships To Pupils Or Intending Pupils For Proficiency In Studies And Further To Award Bursaries To Pupils Or Intending Pupils Towards The Fees For Attending The Foregoing Activities Of The Charity Taking Account In So Doing Of The Financial Means Of The Pupils And Their Parents Or Guardians;d) To Print Publish And Circulate Any Periodicals Or Pamphlets Upon Or In Relation To Any Of The Objects Of The Charity.
